From dark and dated to vibrant and new!
From dark and dated to vibrant and new! Before we started our clients felt that their kitchen was dark and felt closed in. We removed columns and a soffit around the island that made the kitchen feel closed-in and added recessed lights plus hanging pendants over the new open island. Custom cherry cabinets and granite slab countertops and backsplash add rich colors and the new stainless appliances add sparkle. Now it shines like a diamond!

 What a Difference! A modern update is what was needed to change this space into one that the clients would enjoy living in. It was dark and hardly useable. We helped this client to brighten it up and make it appear bigger by changing color schemes and reconfiguring the cabinets to get the most out of every inch. We also created a breakfast bar/peninsula on the other side of the room to increase functionality.

New Kitchen Cabinets and Dining Area
A kitchen remodeling project features glazed maple cabinets with raised panel doors, which were stained to the homeowner's preference. Slab kitchen counter tops were chosen with an under mount stainless steel sink, and the backsplash is 5" handcrafted tiles set on a diagonal with 2" accent pieces for a custom appearance.
A former closet in the dining area was converted into a hutch to match the kitchen. Custom leaded glass was specially created and installed in the upper cabinet doors for a unique and beautiful display of the hutch's contents.
Our clients chose 4" recessed lights, and we installed crown molding where the kitchen cabinets meet the ceiling. The new refrigerator is a "counter depth" model, giving it a more flush look with the cabinets. |

 An Interior Designer's own home
Our client for this project is an interior designer who chose custom cherry shaker style cabinets and a granite countertop with tumbled slate and mosaics splash, a slate floor, and glass doors on selected upper cabinets.
A nook in the dining room was filled with display shelves over a granite shelf, wine racks and cabinets.
A pantry was built in around a corner, with diagonal display shelves over an angled counter end. Appliances were stainless steel finish with an over the counter microwave and slide in range. |

 Kitchen Remodeled for a Modern, Open Look
Granite counter tops and a porcelain sink were installed on white cabinets in this kitchen remodeling project. There is a bookcase at the end of the peninsula cooking cabinet. Undercabinet lighting was also installed to give the kitchen counters better visibility.
A wine cooler was installed here in the kitchen's entertainment area. These kitchen cabinets feature custom leaded glass on the upper doors and a rack for wine glasses mounted above the serving area. |

Custom Cherry Kitchen Cabinets with Corian Counters and Sink
Beautiful new custom cherry cabinetry, Corian counter tops and sink for are just the start in this Sunnyvale kitchen remodel. We created a unique kitchen serving island with angled corners, storage and with overhangs for eating areas. All new electrical was installed, along with a hardwood floor through to the dining room and family room. We removed a wall which divided the family room and kitchen to create better space for kitchen flow and entertaining.
This picture shows one of our nice kitchen pantry set ups, featuring five pull out shelves on full extension guides. To the left is the phone area, with all the hookups and the outlet for the phone is hidden in the cherry cabinet below for a more finished appearance and less clutter on the counter tops. |

 Floor to Ceiling Kitchen Remodeling in San Jose
A complete kitchen remodel with gorgeous custom cherry wood cabinets, easy to clean solid surface counter tops and a tile floor to match the warmth in the room.
We also completely updated the electrical and installed recessed lights in the kitchen ceiling and under cabinet fluorescent lights over the workspaces. For finishing touches, we added glass doors on one upper cabinet, crown molding, a movable food preparation island and a tile floor that will handle traffic and clean up easily. |

 Kitchen Enlargement Project
In this home remodeling project, we enlarged the kitchen by removing an existing an existing wall between the family room and the kitchen. This created better flow of traffic, more storage space, and adequate counter tops for meal preparation.
Featuring warm, custom flush inset cherry wood cabinets and granite counter tops with full splashes, the kitchen is ready for an evening meal or a family party. Newly installed lighting improves the workspace lighting and ambiance of the entire kitchen. |
